: Some players update to the latest version via Steam to get the newest assets, then use the Best of Both Worlds Patcher to downgrade the executable back to 1.5.97. Always make a backup of your save files before installing any mods or patches.
If you are running a downgraded Skyrim (1.5.97), you cannot use the latest USSEP from Nexus Mods. You need the archived "1597" compatible version.
That’s intentional. Arthmoor (the author) reverted that change due to player feedback. 1597 no longer removes the loop – it just stabilizes the numbers.
