If you need to change modes to avoid the driver error, try these common boot commands: Home + X (LED1 flashes). iOS/N1 Mode: Home + Y (Displays as "Newgamepad N1"). iCade Mode: Home + B (Displays as "Gamepad").
If these steps don't clear the error, the N1 might be stuck in the wrong input mode (like Android mode instead of X-Input). Try holding the "Home" or "Start" button for 5 seconds while plugged in to see if Windows re-identifies the device. Happy gaming!
