In 1923, a Japanese professor named Ueno Hidesaburo adopted a loyal Akita dog named Hachiko. Little did he know that this dog would become a legendary symbol of loyalty and devotion. For over nine years, Hachiko waited for Ueno to return home from work at the train station in Shibuya, Tokyo.
The film had a one-night-only screening at the Festival Internacional de Cine para Animales (Mexico City, December 2024) and was leaked online within 72 hours.
