Leading up to Episode 400, the show was steeped in tension. The primary antagonist, the obsessive and dangerous Gurinder (played by Kajal Jain), had successfully kidnapped the spirited Parineeti (Anchal Sahu). Gurinder’s motive was twofold: revenge against the Bajwa family and a twisted desire to eliminate Parineeti, whom she viewed as the obstacle to her happiness.
