The Blue Lagoon story gets a 2012 Lifetime Channel makeover. Two high school students, Emma (Indiana Evans) and Dean (Brenton Thwaites), are considered "troubled" by their parents. They end up stranded on a deserted island after their school community service boat (a yacht) goes overboard during a storm. With no adults, no signal, and only each other for company, they must learn to survive, mature, and navigate their blossoming feelings.
