Ishaq (AS) was the son of Ibrahim (AS) and Sarah, his wife. Allah blessed Ishaq (AS) with a son, Yaqub (AS), who became a great prophet. Yaqub (AS) had twelve sons, who became the leaders of the twelve tribes of Israel. Yaqub (AS) was known for his wisdom, patience, and faith.
